The Cheesecake Queen… and her tacos!

If you live in NEPA then you know all about cheesecakes. That’s right, the Poconos are home to some of the best cheesecakes in Pennsylvania. But wait, what in the heck does this have to do with tacos??? Well my girl Nicole, over at The Cheesecake Queen, is making NEPA dreams come true with her new small business. You know my love for tacos goes beyond the dinner time favorite and the Choco taco has nothing on these CHEESECAKE TACOS! While cheesecake tacos aren’t the only thing she makes, you know NEPA Taco Review had to have these.

We were hooked up with the ultimate selection. Cherry, raspberry, lemon shortbread, blueberry, Oreo, and strawberry crunch. I was most excited to try the strawberry crunch, but I was surprised how much I loved the lemon! I didn’t get to taste the Oreo since my littlest taquito took that and ran, but she did report back “mmmm”, “yummmm”, and “delicious” between bites. The outside tortilla shell is dipped in butter, coated in graham cracker and brown sugar and has that initial crunch when you bite in. The cheesecake was the perfect mix of sweet and tart. This is something our family disagrees on as far as cheesecakes go. I’m a sweet cream fan and my wife is a sour cream supporter. These tacos were definitely a crowd pleaser weighing in right down the middle. The filling can be made in a chocolate or peanut butter as well! They are totally customizable as far as toppings go, so check out the list of what’s available, just be ready for a slight upcharge and super decadent bite of taco dessert love!

 The Cheesecake Queen is located in the 610, but for those of us in lower NEPA it’s a quick drive, plus she’s also willing to meet!
