Don’t let this unassuming shack fool you. Check out what the locals and those hitting the slopes in NEPA have known for a while.. “Life’s a Taco”. Zack’s Taco Shack has inventive, delicious, and affordable food and they’ve made it easy and safe to grab the unique tacos you crave (just remember your cash). Zack’s recently celebrated 5 years serving the community, and I don’t just mean with their food. One look around will show you how invested in giving back they are. This is the local small business sponsoring our little league teams and creating events that inspire and challenge our youth. The same passion they have for food is the same passion they have for the people eating it. Must try items from the menu include the Boardwalk Nachos. The homemade chips have a completely unique sweet flavor. These nachos are piled high with all the right toppings. I highly suggest the pork version. The smoky meat pairs with the sweet chips perfectly. Make sure to ask about specials, there’s always a new and unique combo waiting to surprise you and their tacos all have my favorite, the double corn tortilla. Last but not least, don’t leave without an empanada for the road. They are fried golden brown and are made with whole ingredients. We’re obsessed!
