I came to 2Wayz in search of the beloved Birria Taco; I plan on doing a Birria taco showdown video in a few weeks. 2wayz is one of 6 establishments, on my list, serving the popular taco in NEPA. While I plan on going over what a Birria taco is and what all will be involved in the actual ratings, I also planned not to talk about the trucks I visited until the “big day”, so why am I here? There’s no way my heart could let 2wayz sit without sharing. Not only because the owners are amazing humans, but because their food is now in my top 3 in NEPA. While this truck may not look like much driving by, the minute you step up you can feel the good vibes and smell the delicious food. I was here for the Birria, but trust me, the authenticity added to the creativity of each menu item will make it hard not to try one of everything - with the prices you can afford to! If you follow me you know I love authenticity. To me this means you can taste the love and thought that goes into the food, that it’s not overly “Americanized”, that you don’t need a lot of extras or sauces to make the taste right or get a juicy bite, and that all the ingredients are fresh and relevant. The food from this truck has all that and more. I can’t wait to share more about this specific menu item in the showdown!
